What is the best thing about working at Bright Direction Training?

I enjoy interacting and helping our learners get back into employment.  It’s a real sense of satisfaction when they come back to us with a beaming smile as they’ve got job starts and I love hearing the course feedback! I’m absolutely thrilled for each and everyone of them! It’s a fab workplace, relaxed and down to earth! I love working for BDT, it’s a great wee team, everyone is so helpful and we all go that extra mile in giving our learners that helping hand.

How has working for a training provider improved your own personal development?

It’s helped with my confidence, I was always very nervous speaking in front of large groups.  Since working for BDT I feel I’ve grown in confidence and I don’t get nervous anymore speaking in front of the classes as I do it on a regular basis.

Greatest achievement at work?

My greatest achievement at BDT is setting up and helping people apply for their SIA badges once they’ve successfully completed the course.  I set up a step by step guide which is easy to follow which helps our learners through their SIA application process.

Do you enjoy working and supporting the local community around Bolton?

Yes I love working and supporting the local community, offering support to local people, building and developing their skills, giving local people a great chance with job opportunities in the local area.

What is the best thing about being a member of the Bright Direction Training team?

The best thing about being a team member here at BDT is making a difference to people’s lives.  We all work together as a team, it’s like home from home for me a family.
