Advanced Learner Loans. Study Now, Pay Later

If you’re looking to gain a recognised qualification but are worried about the cost, an Advanced Learner Loan could be the perfect solution.

This government-backed loan helps you cover the cost of your course upfront, so you can focus on your training now and pay it back later once you’re earning.

We currently have funding available for just 22 learners, so early application is strongly recommended.

Watch: How Advanced Learner Loans Work

What is an Advanced Learner Loan?

An Advanced Learner Loan is a government-funded loan designed to help adults pay for eligible courses.

  • It covers your course fees directly

  • You don’t pay anything upfront

  • Repayments only start once you earn over a certain amount

It works in a similar way to a student loan, making training more accessible without immediate financial pressure.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be aged 19 or over

  • Be living in the UK

  • Be enrolling on an eligible Level 3 or above course

How repayments Work

One of the biggest benefits of this loan is how manageable repayments are:

  • You only start repaying when you earn over £25,000 per year

  • Repayments are low and based on your income

  • Payments are automatically taken through your salary (like tax)

If your income drops below the threshold, repayments stop.
